By popular demand, this guitar has been added to Taylor's acoustic guitar lineup. And it's a good thing too, because this guitar is really fantastic. The small size is a dream - not identical to, but not unlike the footprint of a Grand Concert. But because of it's 12-fret setup (in that the neck joins the body at the 12th fret rather than the 14th, like most modern instruments), it feels even more comfortable, and has a deeper, richer sound. It's true that there is not a Taylor guitar that has ever sounded like this. It's amazing and unique among their line. Perfect for smaller folks wanting the most out of an acoustic, singers looking for a comfortable vehicle for their art, fingerstylists looking for a new tonal pallate or adventurous flatpickers who know you don't have to play Soldier's Joy on a dreadnought. Play it for yourself and you'll understand the beauty of this guitar.
It is solid Indian Rosewood (beautiful!) and Sitka Spruce, with a slotted headtock and ivoroid binding. It includes the ES Pickup System and a very nice hardshell case. Dig it!
