All solid Spruce and Maple built in Bend, Oregon USA!  Breedlove mandolins are a unique take on a classic instrument.  All of their mandolins utilize bolt on necks that float above the soundboard and do not interfere with it's flexibility thus maximizing the sonic output of the instrument.  The bolt on neck also enables the instrument to be easily maintained and adjusted for many years of enjoyment.  Breedlove mandolins also have a radius fretboard and a slightly wider nut than other mandolins resulting in the most comfortable mandolin you have ever played.   The "F" scroll on a Breedlove mandolin is actually hollow which increases the tonal range of the instrument by adding more airspace inside (the scroll is solid on other mandolins and it's function is purely aesthetic).
