Modeled after a Guarnerius Violin from 1733, using the exact dimensions, this Rudolph Fiedler violin is a special instrument.. Hand built and carved by masterful hands in the
Czech Republic, it features the dimensions and distinctions of a top
notch Guarneri-style violin. With such marks of distinction and pin
locator holes for the back plates, air-dried tone woods (for over a
decade) and expert hand aging, this is the culmination of historical
methods and patterns with state of the art science and great pricing.
Based on a working relationship with Prague's famous Acoustic Research
Institute, the craftsmen of Mr. Fiedler's shop are setting new
standards in their price range. This model boasts an attractive
and softer top graduation with very smooth lines, making for a strong
sound with great volume from a relatively small body. Also, the
beautiful aged woody light caramel orange-ish finish contrasts
remarkably with the stark black ebony fittings.
This outfit includes a very nice octagonal Brazilwood bow and oblong hardshell case. Call for more info!
