Handmade guitar built in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1976 by Fritz Leitch Damler. It features a cedar top, Brazilian rosewood back, sides, bridge, and peghead veneer, ebony fingerboard, and rosewood bindings. The top shows moderate normal lacquer checking. This instrument was appraised by Gruhn Guitars in 2003 for $3000.00. It does have one vertical crack about 5” long in the middle of the back of the guitar - it has remained as is for quite some time. It would be ideal to stabilize, but not necessarily right away (depends on the climate, really). This guitar is being sold by the original owner (who had the guitar custom built) and is labeled with serial number 104.
