After a lifetime of building some of the most famous guitars ever, Leo Fender pooled all his years of experience to create these G&L guitars(G for George Fullerton, his partner, L for Leo himself). From the neck on down to the saddle, this guitar lives up to it's designation as "Special." Two large rectangular Fullerton-made G&L Magnetic Field Design pickups deliver lively high output twang. The Swamp Ash body and Hard Rock Maple with Rosewood fingerboard sing out with the resonance of the chambered "F" hole design.  G&L designed Saddle Lock with nickel plated die-cast saddles allow for the adjustable bridge to be "locked" together so it can vibrate as one unit, which further enhances overall resonance.
