We've been waiting for this for a long time! And it is everything we hoped it would be....
A short-scale "Parlor" banjo from Deering, is a great addition to any family. As far as the size, it's 3 frets shorter so everything is normal, just closer together - The standard Goodtime neck distance, from the nut to the body, is 19 1/2 inches, while this one is about 15 & 1/2 inches . The result is a smaller banjo, that can be tuned to standard "G," or up to "A" for the folks looking for a new voice. Perfect for travel, kids who wanna play banjo (beats video games!), clawhammer players looking for a shorter scale, singers, ladies, or you, when you throw a parlor shindig and party like it's 1899! Seriously, this banjo is comfortable, sounds great and is a great value. Every one needs one!
Like the other new Goodtime models, this little cutie is made in the USA and now features brand new attractive wooden inlays, a fiddle cut headstock and 3-Ply Red Maple Rim!
